About Me

Hi, my name is Saket and I live in a small town named Midland in the Great Lakes state of Michigan, but this is not where I have always lived. I was born in Chindwara in Madhya Pradesh, India and grew up in Baroda, an industrial town in South Gujarat that is also home to a great art scene. I have also lived in Warangal, Kolkata, Gurgaon and of course Mumbai which is for all practical purposes, my soul city. 

For work I manage Foreign Exchange risk, focusing on G10 market currencies. In short this means a lot of ruminating about the state of the world. This blog is an effort to keep a log of my ideas and thoughts and engage in a conversation with readers. 

I read a whole bunch, listen to a lot of music, care way too much about how music sounds, drink a lot of coffee and care way too much about how coffee tastes. Some day I wanna retire by the ski slopes
